INS-8528M Volktek Managed 8 x 10/100 RJ45 & 2 x FX/GbE SFP Industrial Switch, DNV Marine Approval

INS-8528M is a high-performance 8-port 10/100 RJ45 downlink and 2-port FX/GbE SFP uplink managed industrial switch designed for communication between controllers and devices in automation settings. The SFP port offers long-distance, noise-free fiber transmissions that adapt to Fast and Gigabit Ethernet speeds. It is used with industrial devices such as PLCs, HMIs, and legacy devices. It offers auto-negotiation on all its ports and Modbus TCP to aggregate devices easily in industrial Ethernet applications.

The RJ45 type console port allows outbound network troubleshooting when networks go wrong. Including a variety of management tools for configuration, the switch offers various in-built traffic optimization and network performance features to prioritize important data packets, prevent the loss of data during communication, and stabilize transmission. It is compatible with third-party devices, which can be easily identified with the help of the Topology map. This device complies with cybersecurity standards to safeguard the network from vulnerabilities and protect your assets.

This switch is built with industrial-grade components and enclosed in an IP30 aluminum case with high thermal conductivity, which protects the device from tools and hazards. This device is certified by DNV GL and approved for safe use in marine applications. Designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, interference, and temperatures ranging from -40℃~75℃ (-40°F~167°F), it suits extreme industrial applications. To ensure reliability, the redundant power supply and alarm relay contact on the terminal block ensure non-stop operations and issue alerts if power fails.
