IEN-840GL is a lite-managed 16-port, 10/100/1000 RJ45 downlink, industrial switch designed for communication and real-time monitoring between controllers and devices in automation settings. This high-dense port switch is used with multi-axis robots and their peripherals such as PLCs, HMIs, and legacy devices. It offers auto-negotiation on all its ports and Modbus TCP to aggregate devices easily in industrial ethernet applications.
With a variety of management tools for configuration, it takes only three hours for technicians to learn how to use this equipment. The Wizard reduces installation to three steps and three minutes. The monitoring and management platform, Topology Map and Dashboard, give useful information in real-time to help users diagnose the network and troubleshoot without on-site technicians at all times. Rate limitation and QoS (Quality of Service) allow network optimization.
This switch is built with industrial-grade components, enclosed in metal to protect the device from tools and hazards. Designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, and temperatures ranging from -10°C~60°C (14°F~140°F) it suits hardened application environments without airconditioning. To ensure reliability the redundant power supply and alarm relay contact on the terminal block ensures non-stop operations and issues alerts if power fails.
